House Blessing Part IV

We had the next batch of house blessing last Tuesday night, we invited another couple for dinner - Frenchguy's boss and his wife. As usual, a good bottle of Burgundy wine was given to frenchguy and a bouquet of flowers for me - straight from their very own garden. Isn't it lovely? How I wish I could offer the same - something nurtured with
tender loving care!

At midnight tho, I was discretely wishing that they bid goodbye and wish us à bientôt (see you soon)...well, à demain (see you tomorrow) for bosing. They were finally off at 1am, whew!

Yesterday after work, I started to put a little order in our house, washed the dishes, arranged the bottles, etc etc..and hey, didn't notice that the wine they offered was from Mercurey..reminded me of a new-found blogfriend!

hey, dijon is just 1h40 TGV away from Paris, remember? Autumn is the best time to really appreciate Côte d'Or, kaya lang medyo bilog ako nun by that time...

Duke, 4 lang kami, so it was manageable! Loved the flowers too...wish I have the same always available in my garden, hopefully next year..

Asphaire, hehe, naisip kasi kita when i put the wine sa cellar.

Katuwa naman ang beaux-parents mo, it shows that they really appreciate you. Lucky girl, you are! No probs if they want to meet me...kaya lang, baka magbago isip nila pag nakita ako, im not a good example of pinay kasi hehe..Mercurey is just an hour away from here, kaya lang, my mobility is kinda limited now, ya know, big belly!

J'adore ma maison, well, I guess it's typical to feel that way, something i could call my own...hehe, actually the house blessing is on installment plan, we've been inside since nov last year pa!

that is so nice! ganda ng flowers. =)
I love gardening, I have a small space for my flower plants near our doorstep. I only have roses this summer though kasi very limited ang oras ko, walang time magtanim, alam mo na baby's first. =)

I'm sure you'll enjoy gardening too, lalo na you have a big yard. =)

Ligaya, don't you find it complicated the way they manage gardening there because of the different seasons? Here, planting time is more on November...so with the coming of the baby, I hope I will still have time, pag tulog hehe. Last year kasi, kalilipat lang namin, and we didn't know what we have in the garden, we just discovered it this year...so we decided to have a garden overhaul this year hehe...

Boks, sad to say, ganun na nga po...o kaya summer time, instead of couettes, you only have sac à viandes to bring hehe... bon pluvieux weekend ma cherie!

what lovely flowers! YOu should have started yawning, gone to your room, changed into pyjamas and blinked at them. Oh, you're still here? Hehehe. prolly not cause he's the boss...but then again, you're the preggy one!

hindi naman. they all have these seasonal tips saka kung anong pinaka-the best soil na gamitin mo for your plants. marami kang mabibili na ibat-ibang klase. for my spring flowers like my tulips, I planted the bulbs before the first frost, usually yan on the 1st week of November. by March, nakatubo na sila, hintayin ko na lang mamulaklak. yong mga roses ko on the ground, they come back to life when spring comes. although some of my flower plants are potted. we are very close to a farm market so when summer comes, dun ako bumibili ng mga halaman and transplanted them. I'm sure magiging maganda ang yard mo pag may mga tanim ka na. =o)

TinTin, actually it was the Boss' wife who started yawning first...obviously knowing how I felt..ya know, women...and the men, they didnt even notice that! hay naku!

Ligaya, bad timing nga, i dont think ill appreciate planting by november, just few days before the D Day...i guess it will be more like, last minutes shopping for the baby scenario..
