The Long Wait..

The countdown started on a per month basis and it flew pretty fast. The first trimester passed by without us really realizing it. No more tired future maman every afternoon but was replaced by an active fella always hurry to do outdoor activities. That was the second trimester - where countdown translated to a per week basis. The last month of pregnancy is definitely the longest one - counting by the day! What I particularly find difficult are the sleepless nights, scary stretch marks growing every second, heavy tummy, backaches, the long shower procedure with all those creams and the late pregnancy diet (yep, still with the less salt, less sugar diet!). I'm really impatient to tag my calendar D Day now.

On Wardrobes

To those who don't know yet, I hate shopping! Another pregnancy problem here in my ever beloved romantic France is that, you cross at least 2 seasons during your entire pregnancy. Luckily, I was able to fit in my normal clothes during the first trimester. The second trimester was another story, I was obliged to embrace shopping whether I liked it or not. The problem was, I didn't know where to go..and don't ever ask frenchguy, he knows nothing as according to him, he was never pregnant, darn!

So there you go, summer preggy clothes were added in my closet...and now, the weather's telling me I have to add up autumn wardrobes in my closet too - barely a month (or even days) before D Day! I guess I'll have to lock myself up inside the house..

For future mamans here in France: you could find preggy collections in H&M, C&A, Vertbaudet and Kiabi. But if you want to invest more, you also have choices in Natalys, Forme and Aubert.

Behind the Curtain Scenes

My aquagym courses will soon end. I've seen future mamans come and go. Now, I'm considered one of the seniors, I could even do pool exercises without my Physical Therapist. Lately, remarks like Toujours là? (Still here?) from other patients just add more weight on my already heavy tummy. Yes, I'm that impatient.

My backache obliges me to stay more for jet massage to soothe those aching muscles, time for other mamans to do their shower thing. Before, I was always the first one to go behind those curtains while hearing other mamans do their preggy blahblahs so I didn't really know what's happening outside. Imagine my surprise when I entered the room and see all the other mamans doing their casual preggy blahblahs totally naked? There are even those who do their shower with the curtains open. So what do you expect me to do? I just went straight behind my favorite curtain and thougt, Ok, I'm not in the Philippines, I'm in France.

Ana! The first thing I want to say is... how can you hate shopping when you're in France?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Aaaaaccckkk! Hehehe! Hahayyyyy I wanna visit Europe. Soon soon!!! :p

Hope all is well!

And oh, of course! Link you up too! I'm always confused on whether it is a blogging etiquette to ask permission first or not... so I ask too. In my case though, I'm not too fussed. ;p

ana, you are my anti-shopping soul sister *shakes your hand* I hate shopping too! Anyway, I'm pretty excited about D-day, it's true that the last days always stretch on endlessly... be patient, and I'm crossing my fingers (and toes, to the best of my ability) for a speedy and relatively painless delivery!

So excited for you! Its almost here. I cannot believe how time flies. But i'm sure it goes faster for me who's not waiting to delier :).

You should have the curtains opened when you had the shower. French women would have envied your skin tone to death. That's what's something we can be proud of!

Labour is induced when there is danger to the baby or mother in the baby remaining inside the womb not unless kung kelangan na talaga i-induce like kung overstaying na ang bebe sa loob ng tiyan mo bading..! like when you are well past your due date and are either in 41 or 42 weeks, or in the cases of pre-eclampsia, placental insufficiency, ..!

just be patient bading..! please know that induced labour is much more painful than the natural one. Anyway bebe is coming excited na rin kami..! goodluck, prAY and take care bakla. I'm happy for you..!

hi analyse, have you thought of the name?

here's a list of the top 1000 names. just thought you'd be interested.

There's one helpful way i know to induce labor: walking. One week before my due date, I walk in the park one morning [3 hours walking] with Richard, same day I gave birth with my youngest Kyle. You might consider trying it too bakla, why not di ba? Para hindi kayo mahirapan pareho ni bebe. Well then ingat sis.. at laging ngumiti okay =)

Mildred, thanks for the advice bading, really appreciate it. i don't know if i'll be induced but that was the last remark of my doc. i will see her again this Thursday. sobrang laki kasi ni bébé, 3.7 kg na sya last week..4.5 kg daw sya pag antay kami ng term, so para di kami mahirapang mag ina, induced labor will be the solution...bahala na..

Jo, thanks for the link...we already selected the name ;)

Nao, i've heard about that na nga. we were in the grapevines yesterday, la lang, drive, stop, walk, pix..just to catch the autumn colors..i was tired last night, pero till now, buntis pa rin ako bakla hehehe...

Sha, haha, bonjour, since you left france, the weather's better na...

so ano na raket mo ngayon? hey take a rest naman..

Hey Ana I was about to be induced as well pero we have a friend who is Osteopath. He manipulated my brain & body to help me with a peaceful delivery. Been trying this for 2 yrs. already, with the whole family and I can tell you it is effective!

"L'ostéopathie permet à l'ostéopathe et à son patient, à travers le travail du corps et de ses tensions, de retrouver harmonie et dynamisme."

Osteopathy is a balanced and open-spirited view of medicine and a distinctive art, supported by extensive scientific knowledge.
Based on straightforward, humane principles, Osteopathy allows both practitioner and patient to restore natural function and balance through work on the body and its tensions.

Naiinip na ako, want to see bébé already!

Analyse said...

Haze, is that the same as the sophrologie?

Naomi said...
