i know we could do something about it, kahit pa isa isa at pa konti konting tulong. ano kaya kung tayo at ang mga anak natin ang nasa lugar ng pamilyang iyan?

....and despite of this woeful plight you can still see true happiness! Why can't we be ???

Raqgold, giving them food everyday is a short term solution (seeing that food chains allow them to recover left overs is already a good news, I thought they're not allowed), these people need job to be able to survive with dignity.

Haze, the more we're exposed to life's luxury and comfort, the more we want more. we sometimes think that we NEED such and such.. when in fact, we just WANT them. there's a heck lot of difference.

true happiness can be seen in those kids' eyes.. because they didn't experience other kind of existence... i'm not sure if the the parents' feel the same way. I'm sure they're wanting more for their kids.

This Ferdinand is a really good filmmaker!
Ive seen on TFC how they recook the food then sell it again as a source of living. It's so sad it made me cry, too.

Tears definitely flowed for me...

It's so hard to watch but we all need to be reminded that others live this this.

And my employers here in Monaco sometimes throw away stuffs that cost a year salary of a normal filpino worker.or giving parties and throw food away after. Uwi ko nga rin sa bahay. Tatlo ang daga sa amin, si anjo si lolo si michel, haha

There's injustice, the rich become richer, the poor become poorer.

Sometimes, in my little rebellion, I dont get any bad conscience if I charge them a high salary. These lots earn money even without even sweating like I do.

Others, they will get it from the resto, and select which they can sell - to carinderia. They will wash and cook it again- filipino fave- adobo, and sell P5 or P2 per order.I saw it in one documentary film *PagPag* as they called it.-aldine
