Did I ever really realize how time flies too fast? Or is it just because of bébé’s fast development that I have to stay awake longer hours and be more observant to keep pace of these changes?

8 weeks had passed. A lot about her had changed: the sound of her cry, the way she looks at me, the way she communicates, the way she wakes up, the way she spends her day…

Frenchguy and I had somehow changed our old habits too.

Never had we imagined how a diaper change could be so fascinating. Pipi or caca? What colour, quantity, consistency, frequency… a funny subject which became part of our daily conversation.

Going out is not as easy. Bébé has to be fed and changed prior to that. Stroller has to be in the car. A complete set of clothes and diapers should be prepared. Add to that a ready-to-mix bottle in the bag. Going home is ironically the first thing we have in mind upon arrival to destination.

No more staying late in bed on weekends.

No more sleeping 8 hours straight at night.

No more uninterrupted phonecalls.

No more long hours of uninterrupted chat (or no more chat at all!)

Washing machine at work full time.

I still love to read. I have loads of Infobébé, Famili and Parent magazines. I have some collections of bébé books of different authors too.

I start to love shopping. Favorite boutiques: Aubert, Bébé 9, Autour de Bébé, Vertbaudet. Favorite place in supermarkets : Rayon Bébé.

My Christmas gift: CD (for bébé). Frenchguy’s Christmas gift: Book (for bébé).

The A (apprentice) sign at the back of my car has been replaced by Bébé à Bord.

I guess frenchguy and I are becoming addicted to bébé..

Be more organized! That would be my new year's resolution.

Hi Ana! Very fascinating daw talaga the journey towards parenthood.
Times flies fast talaga. I can see in your bebe's aura na nag-iba na from the previous pics.
Enjoy parenting. God bless.

I see that you are enjoying parenthood very much. They say nothing really compares to it. A baby grows so fast and next thing you know, baby Louna is already mumbling her first words (will it be in French or English ---> maman or mama?)

a few more weeks, and you won't even be able to imagine anymore how it was without bebe! at least that's how i felt/still feel...

Bless, yep, she's changed her facial features na yata. She's just so lovely.

Duke, hehe, i guess it will be maman. But she will be bilingual...well, we hope. I'm forcing myself to speak english now, and tagalog from time to time...errr, is little duchesse on your short term plan now?

How amazingly wonderful is it to be changing as your baby changes day by day? It's like you're discovering things all over again! And you're going back to work soon? Aww, that will be a separation anxiety! Have a great 2006, ana!

I remember my first two years of motherhood, it was everything about and for bébé. Profit the time with your bundle of joy.

I hope the babysitter will do her job very well. Don't forget to check bébé every now and then once you go back to work (a must!). :-)

what you have become shopcaholic ;-)
they say baby will change your life forever... and this is the evidence.

Kala and Sha, should i say this is the bad effect of being a maman? but well, sarap magshop for bébé.

Makis, thanks. yep, back to work soon...bilis ng panahon, and i dont feel like going back to work yet, but anyways...if only i could just stay near bébé and watch her grow..

Joy, welcome to my hideaway. thanks, i'll do that. ang hirap no, im obliged to trust somebody for my child.

Re. "going out is not as easy": UNDERSTATEMENT of the year :D going out is one big production!!! i even have two baby bags---a big one for going to farther places like tagaytay, and a small one for shorter trips (to the mall or to my mum in law). it's so fun to be addicted to baby---hard but fun :D i am sure you will agree!
