Filipino Time?

Honestly, I hate it! I don't like waiting for hours as if I have all the time in the world and got nothing else to do but to wait for Mr or Ms VIP! In return, I try to be on time all the time....ok, I have to admit that way back in my Philippine escapades, I practiced Filipino time too, and who wouldn't? Everbody arrives at least 30 minutes late so why the rush, right?

Filipino Cramming?

Oh, I hate this too, pero likas na Pinoy yata ako, I could arrive on time...but really on time, at the nearest second! I hate cramming before the exam when I was still a student, but I actually survived like that, reviewing till the wee hours the day before the exam!

Till now, cramming remains my game, more often to my disadvantage of course. This morning, I had an important meeting in our Paris office and I had to catch the train at 6:51am, no less. I swear, I had all the time, but heck, I still left home at the last minute thinking it would be easy to park my car and the train station is a mere 5 minutes away from home. Susmaryosep, I had all the traffic light RED yata! Ayun, I was one minute too late...the worst is that, I even saw the train leaving...kainis!

At around 8am, I started bugging frenchguy to reserve a taxi for me as I know, our secretary arrives around 9am (Heck, I don't even have the number of Paris Taxi to begin with!). Paris traffic especially when you're hurrying is not agreeable at all! Luckily the taxi driver understood that I have a 10am super duper important strategic meeting with the big bosses and not a Pinay Engineer in France should delay that! Whew, I nevertheless arrived ON TIME!

Lesson learned!

same here, I hate waiting!

am a punctual person and it drives me crazy when others are not. I don't like to make people wait for me nor them to make me do that. In most instances, I arrive before the time appointed.

By the way, how long does it take to get to Paris from Dijon? TGV or SNCF?

hinay-hinay lang dear!
;)

Also yong Tour de France sa Chateau, ganda daw doon. Haaay.
Hayaan mo na ANA, pratice yan ke Laurent Jr, how Mama is giving her way to career while preggy.

Boks, Dijon is just an hour and 40 minutes away from Paris by TGV. There's some TER but haven't tried them so I don't know how long is the trajet. Know what, there's even some who does the trajet everyday to go to work in Paris! But actually, it's just feasible as I stayed last night in Paris (in my beau-frère's appt), and from our St Maur Office to the 15th arrondissement, it took me an hour and 20 minutes na (walking, RER and Metro combined)!

If only I had the time, I really would have taken the RER/Metro kaya lang as in super exact lang yung time...malay ko ba na maraming road construction on the way..e di naman tayo yung na select for JO 2012!

Hehe, korek ka dyan ate Amy, dapat mag practice na sya, both frenchguy and I pa naman are speeds hehe..

Teka, ano naman gagawin mo sa Eurodisney hehe...

haha, pagong ba?

it's less than 2 hours Sha, it's 1 hour and 40 minutes, still accessible. dijon is actually not bad as we're halway between the capital and the south...

haha, at least di lang ako ang napapagalitan because of that bad habit hehe..

go eurodisney! actually when we went there, we were with frenchguy's niece and nephew, and guess what, yung mga adults ang mas nag enjoy sa mga rides ;)
